The Team:

Celonis Demo Engineering is the creative and technical engine of our Go-To-Market strategy. We are on a high-stakes mission to build the Next-Gen Demo Factory - a world where AI agents and LLMs handle the heavy lifting of demo creation, democratizing demo excellence for 1,000+ GTM colleagues. We create experiences that kick off our customers' journey with Celonis and help them visualize the future on our platform.

To build these experiences, we collaborate with Value Engineering, Product Management, Product Marketing, Enablement, and Industry teams - and we push the limits of the Celonis platform to bring our vision to life.

The Role:

As a Demo Engineering Intern, you'll sit at the intersection of technology, storytelling, and business strategy - and you'll contribute to our Next-Gen Demo Factory mission, where AI agents and smart workflows are transforming how we build and deliver demos at scale. You'll help prototype agentic tools, configure demos on the Celonis platform, and experiment with AI-assisted storytelling. But this isn't just a technical role: you'll also develop a broad understanding of the real-world business problems Celonis solves across industries like manufacturing, retail, and financial services - giving you a rare window into both the technical and commercial sides of an enterprise AI company.

The work you'll do:

  • Explore the AI-powered demo frontier: Support the build of AI-assisted workflows - prompt-to-demo experiments, automated data story generation, and smart screen configuration.
  • Learn the business landscape: Work across industries and functions - from Accounts Payable to Supply Chain - to understand the problems Celonis solves and translate them into compelling, executive-ready stories.
  • Partner with Value Engineering, Product Marketing, and Industry teams to develop demos that resonate with both technical and business audiences.
  • Contribute to demo assets across formats: C-level executive demos, event showcases, product feature demos, and AI use case prototypes.
  • Help identify manual tasks in the demo lifecycle and propose or prototype automation ideas to reduce effort.
  • Assist with demo QA, environment maintenance, and responding to internal user questions.

The qualifications you need:

  • A curiosity about both business and technology - you're as interested in understanding why a process breaks down as you are in the tools that fix it.
  • Some exposure to SQL and/or Python (coursework counts) - you don't need to be a developer, but comfort with data is a plus.
  • The ability to take a complex idea and tell a clear, compelling story around it.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
  • A degree in progress in Management & Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
