The Head of Sales, DACH is a senior commercial leader responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for Cytric's travel and expense management solutions across the DACHn market. This role leads a high-performing sales organization, drives pipeline creation, manages key customer relationships, and ensures achievement of ambitious growth targets. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with product, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver market-leading solutions and maximize revenue. The role leads a team of hunters focused on net-new logo acquisition, building a high-quality pipeline and converting strategic enterprise prospects into customers across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Main Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with regional and global objectives.
- Lead pipeline development, forecasting, and operational processes to ensure consistent achievement of goals.
- Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and refine go-to-market strategies.
- Support adoption of sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC framework, Sandler model, consultative selling principles) to enhance team performance.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse sales team across the DACH region.
- Build and scale a team focused on new customer acquisition, ensuring clear territory coverage and measurable activity standards.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement through inclusive leadership.
- Set clear performance metrics, provide regular feedback, and design development plans for professional growth.
Customer & Partner Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise customers, prospects, and partner organizations.
- Represent the Cytric solution at relevant industry events and briefings to strengthen brand visibility.
- Collaborate with Travel Management Companies (TMCs) and distribution partners to expand market reach.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product, marketing, and customer success teams for coordinated execution of sales initiatives.
- Share market insights to shape product development and enhance solution value.
- Contribute to the creation of sales enablement resources, training, and competitive positioning.
Operational Excellence
- Manage budgets, resources, and incentive programs effectively to maximize business outcomes.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize forecasting, pipeline accuracy, and overall sales process.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
Industry Expertise
- Solid knowledge of the corporate travel ecosystem, including Travel Management Company operations, enterprise travel programs, and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms.
- Experience leading sales teams in travel technology or related B2B SaaS markets.
Professional Experience
- Extensive experience in sales leadership roles with a record of achieving targets and driving growth in complex enterprise environments.
- Background in managing large, geographically dispersed teams and multi-tier leadership structures.
- Skilled in pipeline development, forecasting, and operational alignment.
