- Development and synthesis of battery materials (electrolytes and electrodes) for calcium batteries, along with their comprehensive chemical and electrochemical characterization, and optimization of processes for upscaling
- Manufacture of laboratory battery test cells and their comprehensive electrochemical characterization
- Investigation and development of stabilizing interfaces and functional coatings for electrodes
- Chemical and electrochemical characterization using NMR, XRD, SEM, potentiostatic and galvanostatic measurement methods, cyclovoltammetry, and impedance spectroscopy
- Collaboration with project partners and other research groups
- Publication of the research results in relevant journals and presentation at national and international conferences
- Scientific supervision of bachelor's and master's students
Your Profile
- A completed master's degree in chemistry or materials science
- Ph.D. in chemistry or materials science
- Experience with chemical synthesis, materials analysis using SEM/EDX, XRD, FT-IR, and NMR spectroscopy, and electrochemical investigations
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
