Strategic Finance Summer Intern

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Operations and cross-functional finance teams to deliver analysis, financial guidance, and decision support that drives sustainable, profitable growth
• Produce insightful financial analysis and present findings directly to senior leaders, translating data into clear, actionable recommendations
• Build Scalable Financial Frameworks: Design and implement automated financial models and reporting tools that work across multiple business lines and geographies, improving accuracy and reducing reliance on manual processes
• Drive Automation & AI Adoption: Identify opportunities to replace manual finance processes with automation and AI-powered tools, improving speed and scalability across the function
• Support Commercial Decision-Making: Work alongside operational leads to identify cost improvement opportunities, share financial best practices, and build processes that support rapid business growth
• Enable Real-Time Insight: Develop dynamic, flexible financial models that adapt to new channels and programmes, compressing multi-week analysis cycles into on-demand outputs

Requirements

• 2-4 years at a Big 4 advisory practice (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC) in finance, transformation, FP&A, or similar consulting work, or equivalent experience in a growth-stage company; currently enrolled in an MBA programme

• Strong communicator with the confidence to build relationships across all levels of the organisation and challenge assumptions when needed
• Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership - you anticipate what's needed, take initiative, and see tasks through to completion
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment; able to structure problems independently and deliver quality outputs at pace
• Advanced financial modelling and data analysis skills, with the ability to deliver actionable insights
• NetSuite experience is a strong plus
• Positive, collaborative approach and genuine enthusiasm for working within a globally dispersed, high-performance team
