We are looking for a hands-on HR Operations professional who ensures reliable, compliant, and efficient execution of core HR administrative processes, with a strong focus on preparing high-quality payroll-relevant inputs and supporting statutory reporting requirements. The role sits at the interface of HR Operations, Payroll, and Finance and plays a key part in ensuring data quality, process consistency, and smooth monthly payroll preparation for topics such as long-term accounts, company cars, absences, and other employee-related changes.

Location: Germany (remote/hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational responsibility for core HR administrative processes, including employee onboarding and offboarding, contractual changes, and maintenance of employee master data
  • Preparation, validation, and timely provision of payroll-relevant inputs for Germany, including topics such as long-term accounts, company cars, absences, variable payments, and other special cases
  • Handling of statutory notifications and registrations via the relevant social security reporting portal in close coordination with Payroll and external partners
  • Ownership of data quality and process consistency across HRIS, payroll systems, and interfaces to external payroll providers
  • Close coordination with Payroll, Finance, and external payroll providers to ensure complete and accurate monthly payroll preparation
  • Acts as a primary operational contact at the interface between HR, Payroll, and Finance for administrative and payroll-input-related matters
  • Preparation of payroll-related reports, supporting documentation, and audit-relevant information
  • Support with statutory notifications and administrative follow-up activities in coordination with payroll and external partners
  • Continuous identification of opportunities to improve, standardize, and document HR Operations processes and payroll-input workflows


Your Profile

  • Several years of experience in HR Operations, HR Administration, and/or payroll-related HR processes
  • Good understanding of German payroll-relevant processes, wage tax, and social security requirements, especially from an HR input and data quality perspective
  • Experience with statutory notifications, registrations, and social security reporting processes is highly desirable
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS systems and collaboration with payroll providers
  • High level of accuracy, reliability, and discretion, especially when handling sensitive employee data
  • Structured and process-oriented working style, with strong attention to detail and data quality
  • Confident communicator, comfortable working with multiple internal and external stakeholders Fluent German and good English skills for daily business
