Your Mission
As the EHS Specialist atTrench Group, your mission is to lead the development and implementation of aunified global Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) strategy that alignswith our company goals and commitment to sustainable innovation. You will ensurecompliance with all relevant EHS laws and standards, foster a culture ofsafety, and drive continuous improvement in our EHS performance across allglobal locations. You will be responsible for developing workplace healthpolicies, conducting risk assessments, and implementing mitigation strategies.Additionally, you will lead training programs to promote a proactive EHSculture and ensure transparent reporting of EHS metrics to stakeholders.

Your Tasks:
  • Global EHS Strategy: You areresponsible for advancing a unified global EHS strategy aligned with companygoals, benchmarking against industry standards and best practices, definingglobal standards while ensuring flexibility for local adaptation.
  • Health & Safety Management: You will develop workplace health policies andinitiatives, monitor and mitigate hazards.
    Environmental Compliance: You ensure regulatory adherence to local, national,and international environmental laws, as well as tracking of emission andreduction efforts (air, water, waste).
  • Risk Management: You evaluate and perform risk assessments to identify hazardsand potential risks, develop risk mitigation and emergency response plans, aswell as continuous improvement processes for safer work environments.
    Data Analysis and Reporting: You collect and analyze EHS data for trends andimprovement, ensure global reporting on incidents, near misses, and safetymetrics, and provide transparent reporting to stakeholders, includingsustainability metrics.
  • Compliance and Auditing: You perform regular audits for legal and policycompliance across regions, monitor local EHS policies, and manage externalregulatory inspections.
  • Training & Awareness: You develop and roll out EHS training programs forall employees, drive awareness campaigns, and provide leadership training topromote a proactive EHS culture.
  • Occupational Safety Specialist: Occupational safety specialist("Sicherheitsfachkraft") for Headquarter Office in Berlin and Corporate Officein Erlangen.


Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Asuccessfully completed university degree in safety technology, environmentaltechnology, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrialengineering, or a similar field is essential for your success. Additionally,certification as a "Sicherheitsfachkraft" in Germany is required.
  • ProfessionalExperience: You have at least 5 years of relevantprofessional experience in production or related areas and in EHS management.
  • Knowledge of EHS Lawsand Standards: You possess in-depth knowledge of relevantEHS laws, regulations, and standards, such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001,and German legislation.
  • Risk Analysis andManagement Expertise: You are an expert in methods forRisk Analysis and Risk Management, as well as Root Cause Analysis, supported bymethodologies like 5Why and the Ishikawa approach.
  • Analytical andStrategic Skills: You are characterized by stronganalytical skills, a strategic and solution-oriented mindset, and strongcommunication skills with the ability to persuade at all hierarchical levels.
  • Training and ProcessKnowledge: You have didactic train-the-trainer knowledgeand process knowledge.
  • Language Skills andWillingness to Travel: To navigate your internationalenvironment, you should be willing to travel and possess business-fluentEnglish skills. For your role as "Sicherheitsfachkraft," business-fluent Germanlanguage skills are essential.
