Electronics Engineer (m/f/d)

OHB's spacecraft observe the Earth, relay valuable data, study the solar system, and much, much more. In the Avionics Department we are responsible for the beating heart of each of our missions.As Subsystems Engineer (m/f/d) for Data Handling Systems you have the opportunity to work in a dedicated & motivated team on the design and implementation of the data handling subsystem and its components.
Your Tasks

• Data handling subsystem sizing
• Data handling subsystem design
• Requirements engineering
• Evaluation of technical proposals from suppliers
• Technical officer guiding the unit procurement throughout the lifecycle (from conception, through design and implementation phases, through unit-level testing until system integration & verification)
• Data handling subsystem implementation
• Unit- and subsystem verification
• Launch support and in-orbit commissioning

Your Qualifications

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering or closely related subjects
• Strong & documented personal interest in electronics design or other technical topics
• Ability and desire to work in multi-cultural teams
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Fluency in German is desired (Language skills can be improved through company-facilitated trainings)
