About the Position
As a Senior Manager Accounting (m/f/d), you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our financial reporting. You will be responsible for adherence to national and international accounting regulations as well as internal policies. With your in-depth expertise, you will ensure that the company's accounting remains fully compliant at all times, risks are minimized, and processes are maintained and continuously optimized.

Your Profile
In addition to a degree in business administration/economics or a comparable qualification, you have several years of experience in accounting, audit, or compliance - ideally within an auditing firm or an international corporate environment.

About the Position
As a Senior Manager Accounting (m/f/d), you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our financial reporting. You will be responsible for adherence to national and international accounting regulations as well as internal policies. With your in-depth expertise, you will ensure that the company's accounting remains fully compliant at all times, risks are minimized, and processes are maintained and continuously optimized.
After an onboarding phase, your responsibilities will include the following exciting topics:
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards (IFRS, HGB) and internal group requirements
- Responsibility for the proper and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Analyzing complex accounting issues and deriving well-founded recommendations for action
- Further development and implementation of internal accounting policies and governance structures
- Ensuring an effective Internal Control System (ICS) within the finance area
- Planning and conducting internal reviews, as well as professionally supporting internal and external audits
- Implementing new regulatory requirements and continuously optimizing existing finance processes
- Close and trusted collaboration with other finance departments and relevant interfaces
- Acting as a contact person for external auditors and internal audit teams
Your Profile
In addition to a degree in business administration/economics or a comparable qualification, you have several years of experience in accounting, audit, or compliance - ideally within an auditing firm or an international corporate environment.
Further qualifications include:
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS and HGB accounting standards
- Experience in implementing complex projects, preferably in finance or governance environments
- Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Tax Advisor are an advantage
- Strong analytical skills, structured and solution-oriented mindset, and a high level of personal responsibility
- Confident demeanor, strong communication skills, and assertiveness
- Very good German and English language skills
