Job Title: Payroll Specialist - Contractor/Freelance
Job Location: Eschborn, Germany (Home based - any location in Germany considered)

Work schedule: 0.5 FTE, 6 month contract

Job Overview:

Caidya is a leading global clinical research organisation dedicated to advancing healthcare through innovation and collaboration. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Specialist to join our team in Germany on a 6-month contract (0.5 FTE), with an immediate start available.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring a smooth and accurate payroll experience for employees while working within a supportive, international environment.

What You'll Be Doing

As Payroll Specialist, you will support the day-to-day payroll operations, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Processing monthly payroll activities with accuracy and efficiency
  • Preparing and submitting payroll reports and tax payments in a timely manner
  • Managing payroll updates and employee changes within ADP
  • Resolving payroll queries and issues in a professional and responsive manner
  • Supporting payroll compliance and audit preparation activities
  • Collaborating closely with HR colleagues on initiatives impacting payroll operations

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is organised, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will ideally bring:
  • Previous payroll administration or payroll specialist experience
  • Experience with collective bargaining agreements
  • Familiarity with ADP and payroll systems
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of payroll processes, reporting, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, in both English and German
