As a Process Engineer (m/f/d) for Process and Logistics Simulation you will be part of a highly qualified team at the main location in Stuttgart, where knowledge transfer and collaborative work are considered essential. Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Planning in the field of active ingredient production by means of biotechnological production processes, e.g. fermentation processes, purification processes, and other biotechnological technologies - focus on material flow and logistics simulation
- Simulation of biotechnological production processes for the optimization of process flows and to determine the media and energy requirements of the plant
- Preparation of feasibility and concept studies for the construction of pharmaceutical plants
- Presentation of the planning results to the customer
Show your expertise
- You have a degree in biotechnology, engineering, logistics, or a related field, ideally with a focus on simulation
- You have initial professional experience in the pharmaceutical or food technology sector, alternatively you can show activities as a working student or internships in the life science or food technology sector
- You can demonstrate a basic understanding of logistics processes
- Ideally, you bring experience in working with simulation tools (e.g. INOSIM, FlexSim, or similar tools)
- You are fluent in German, as the project environment at our customers is primarily German-speaking and you have good English skills
- You like to contribute proactively, have a quick grasp and a high degree of teamwork and communication skills
- Together with the team, you are able to work in a solution and goal-oriented manner
