Your Role
- Provide guidance on employee-related matters, i.e. employment legislation, performance management, and HR policies
- Build management capability in handling people topics effectively and independently
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers, coaching them through sensitive and complex people topics
- Manage and execute employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, employment changes, and offboarding
- Prepare employment contracts, amendments, and HR documentation in line with German labour law
- Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with internal standards
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in HR systems
- Liaise with payroll, benefits providers, and finance to ensure accurate and timely processing
- Liaise with external providers including Occupational Health, benefits providers, and other HR service partners
Your Experience
- 3-5 years of HR experience in Germany, ideally in a generalist or operational HR role
- Solid knowledge of German labour law and HR best practices
- Experience in an international or matrix organisation is preferred
- Strong communication skills in German and English
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Pragmatic, solution-oriented approach
- Ability to balance operational execution with advisory responsibilities
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Collaborative team player with a service-oriented mindset
