System Safety Manager (m/f/d)

As a System Safety (or Functional Safety) Manager (m/f/d), you will have the opportunity to take on responsibility for the safety-related development of the entire system as an OEM, as well as to drive the development of specific functionalities at the assembly and component level.

• Management & realization of safety-related functions at the system and/or assembly and component level
• Application & analysis according to applicable standards (e.g. MIL-STD-882E and/or ISO 26262 or alternatively IEC 61508)
• Deriving safety requirements and allocation to stakeholders (m/f/d)
• Moderation of workshops with specialist teams
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with various specialist departments
• Documentation of work results incl. presentation internally & in external customer contact

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Degree in a technical or scientific subject with an analytical bent (e.g. electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics, chemistry or a comparable field)
• Relevant professional experience in the required field of activity (e.g. as a functional safety manager in the automotive industry)
• In-depth knowledge of V-model development required
• Knowledge of development tools desirable (e.g. DOORS, PDM, ALM)
• Experience in moderating teams/working groups
• Good written and spoken English
• Strong team player
• Willingness to occasionally travel for work
