Manager, Key Account - DACH

What You'll Do:

As a Manager, Key Account DACH you will lead the development and execution of strategic plans to drive retailer performance and grow market share across key channels and markets. You will be responsible for cultivating strong senior-level relationships with retail partners and delivering robust 3-year business plans aligned with brand objectives. In this role, you will oversee the implementation of brand strategies, manage sales targets within defined budgets, and negotiate across all key levers to enhance brand visibility, performance, and ranking. As a leader, you will also play a pivotal role in coaching and developing team members, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.

This role will report to the Director, Regional Brand Director-DACH, NL, PL,CEE

What You'll Be Working On:

These duties may be reviewed and modified from time to time based on mutual needs.

COMMERCIAL LEADERSHIP

  • Build 3 year Brand commercial and budget plans & develops GTM strategy to achieve brand sales ambitions and goals.
  • Establish, Nurture and maintain amazing and collaborative relationships with key accounts
  • Builds 360 Trade Marketing plans to launch Innovation/brand campaigns
  • Creates & agrees winning JBPs with key retailers with clear KPIs and regularly monitors performance and course corrects where necessary
  • Incredible Negotiator, liaising with key stake stakeholders to optimize brand performance
  • Leads plan to achieve brand sales and profitability goals while monitoring stock levels with retailers & SISO
  • Oversees, shapes, and steers strategic business objectives in assigned markets to accelerate growth and maximize market share.
  • Fully accountable on Net Sales forecasting for the retailers & markets, meeting all financial deadlines and budget submissions, flagging risks and opportunities in a timely and quantified manner.
  • Oversees Department Store execution across assigned markets, ensuring alignment with brand strategy, and provides leadership to local Department Store teams to drive performance and operational excellence
  • Builds strong partnership with International Team counterparts [EMEA, APAC, UK] to exchange ideas, best practice and collaborate on common projects
  • Passionate leader adept at coaching junior team members within the team and brand.

RETAILER PARTNERSHIPS:

  • Ensure flawless execution of brand vision and campaign partnership with retailer partners across all touchpoints of web, app, mobile, social
  • Robust Planning to ensure New Launch and Planning to deliver sell-in and out goals
  • Lead and manage retailer partnership activations. Drives Trade & Online Marketing activities across Retailers to fuel Retailer Growth.
  • Liaise with Marketing, Visual Merchandising and PR to create and deliver an annual plan for each retailer covering: activation of new door openings, key launches, marketing moments, eventing, retailer animation, considering both customer acquisition and retention.
  • Manage each account P&L, balancing investment with top-line opportunity; to measure and deliver ROI

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE:

  • Build strong working relationships with field teams of our Retailers, utilizing insight from the field and translating learnings into commercial growth.
  • Drive product and brand excellence in all wholesale environments
  • Collaborate with internal teams including sales, marketing, and product development to ensure alignment with account-specific needs and strategies.
  • Work with planning to align accurate forecasting for NPL and core lines, and proactive inventory and assortment management.
  • Analytical ability - to forward plan and provide insights to assist in future growth, opportunities and business development
  • Review implementation and performance vs expectations on a regular basis.
  • Prepare regular internal and external reports and presentations to communicate key metrics, trends, and insights.

Must Haves:

  • Min 7+ years relevant experience in commercial roles
  • Proven experience in leading brand strategy and execution with key Retailers of the DACH, NL, and PL region
  • Brings strong leadership experience, leading, developing, and motivating teams to achieve high performance and sustained success
  • A natural storyteller with enhanced persuasive selling skills & an adept negotiator with proven examples of success
  • Strong analytical acumen and business development skills
  • Experience across channels with an established network of contacts in DACH, NL, PL
  • A strong understanding of the wider EU market is advantageous
  • Experience in utilizing commercial levers of luxury beauty to drive business performance
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using consumer, brand, and marketing data metrics to inform strategy
  • Innovator with the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to network and influence senior stakeholders and communicate recommendations concisely & persuasively
  • Must be comfortable working a hybrid schedule ( 2 days Remote + 3 days per week in our Germany Office)
