The Specialist L&SC (m/f/d) ensures that all subcontractors and their subsubcontractors operatelegally, contractually, and ethicallyon construction sites. The role protects theproject, company, and clientfrom legal liability, financial penalties, and reputational damage while promoting transparent, fair, and safe site operations.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Ensure regulatory compliance across the supply chain, including review and approval of subcontractors and monitoring of labor law requirements
- Implement and enforce compliance clauses, audits, and flowdown obligations in subcontractor agreements
- Conduct site audits and spot checks to verify working time, qualifications, PPE, and health & safety standards
- Identify and mitigate compliance risks (e.g. illegal employment, false self-employment, corruption, environmental issues)
- Deliver compliance trainings, raise awareness, and act as the main on-site contact for compliance matters
- Maintain documentation, report deviations, and support investigations as well as enforcement actions with internal stakeholders and authorities
Show your expertise
- Relevant degree (e.g. Law, Business, Engineering, Occupational Safety) and several years of experience in compliance, labor law, or construction/site environments in Germany
- Strong knowledge of German regulations and subcontractor compliance
- Experience in managing subcontractors and conducting audits, inspections, or site supervision
- Solid understanding of construction site processes, including EHS standards and compliance documentation requirements
- Fluent German and English
- Willingness to travel and work regularly on construction sites
