We provide support for businesses weighing up important strategic decisions - offering solutions and advisory for: debt funding, corporate finance advisory, rating advisory, financial sponsor solutions, patient capital, capital structure advisory, and sustainable finance. As part of our DCM business, we provide access to local and international Debt Capital Markets for Financial Institutions, SSA and Corporates. The interaction with our clients is focused on offering tailor-made solutions for the issuers' wholesale funding operations and liability structure in a strongly regulated environment. We offer our interns an insight into this fast-moving market environment.

What you'll be doing
- Monitoring and analysis of debt capital market activity and trends
- Contribution to client pitch books and supporting material
- Preparation of regular, client-specific market updates in the Debt Capital Markets field next to macroeconomics
- Contribution to a successful deal execution phase, drafting of deal statistics & summaries
- Tracking of primary and secondary market flows of Financial Institutions and Sovereign, Supranational & Agencies
- Research on industry specific topics of relevant issuers with a focus on Fixed Income products (covered bonds, senior bonds and regulatory capital instruments)
- Maintenance and further development of various databases
What you'll need to succeed
- You are currently a Bachelor Student (4th semester onwards) or a Master Student
- You have very good academic achievements, preferably in the field of Business or Economics; Focus on Banking, Capital Markets
- You already have knowledge and interest in the field of Debt Capital Market products (skewed towards Financial Institutions)
- Interest in economic topics
- Bloomberg experience desirable
- Excellent English skills (both verbal and written), German is a plus and any further language welcome
- Good electronic data processing skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to manage own workload and to cover a variety of tasks in parallel

Während deines Praktikums bieten wir dir auf Basis einer Vollzeitbeschäftigung eine attraktive monatliche Vergütung von 2.400€ brutto, die mindestens dem jeweils geltenden gesetzlichen Mindestlohn entspricht. Dies gilt unabhängig davon, ob es sich um ein Pflichtpraktikum oder ein freiwilliges Praktikum handelt.
