What you will be doing
You will have a Business critical role in being responsible for providing support for Rolls-Royce managed engine shop visits. You will also:
- manage subject engines in the shop to achieve business requirements in terms of quality, cost, delivery and lead-time,
- evaluate and report service-run engine part conditions,
- identify and analyse both engineering and commercial trends,
- Provide quality assurance support to the shop and to Rolls-Royce Customer teams,
- participate in engineering investigations as required,
- ensure operational activity is compliant with business plans and policies and resolve deviations as necessary,
- work as part of a multi-skilled team and contribute across a range of functional activity, such as planning and logistics, risk management, supply chain management, load capacity planning, cost control/invoice management, customer/supplier relationship management.

To be successful in this role you will need to:
- demonstrate experience of working in an MRO environment and/or the airline/automotive industry, with operational and repair experience on gas turbines,
- exhibit a comprehensive understanding of engine components, system and functionality,
- display a high degree of self-motivation, flexibility, initiative, action-orientation and vision, supplemented with good IT skills (e.g. Maximo for Aviation, Stream),
- be fluent in English (German is advantageous but not necessary).
