Key Responsibilities
Category Ownership & Strategy
- Act as the end-to-end supply chain owner for the category, accountable for inventory, out-of-stock, and cost metrics.
- Partner with the Category Lead to align supply chain execution with revenue and growth targets.
- Build and drive category-specific supply chain strategies across all sales channels.
- Lead special projects (e.g., integrations, liquidations, cost optimization).
Inventory & PO Management
- Lead weekly PO planning, balancing demand, inventory, and working capital.
- Place and track POs, ensuring on-time delivery and availability.
- Monitor OOS risks, recommend corrective actions, and own recovery plans.
- Optimize inventory turns while safeguarding service levels.
Logistics & Fulfillment
- Manage inbound and outbound flows in coordination with 3PLs and supporting teams.
- Ensure timely, cost-effective movement of goods to warehouses, FBA, and other nodes.
- Resolve logistics issues quickly and escalate risks with solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement to reduce lead times and end-to-end costs.
Reporting & Analytics
- Deliver weekly updates and monthly performance reports for the category.
- Track and analyze KPIs: Fulfillment DoS, OOS %, Inventory Turns, and E2E unit cost.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve category supply chain performance.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the orchestrator between commercial and supply chain teams for the category.
- Align with Category Lead, Procurement, Inbound, Outbound, and Supply Planning to ensure smooth execution.
- Manage supplier relationships to secure reliability, cost competitiveness, and agility.
Leadership & Governance
- Provide direction and coaching to category-dedicated supply chain team members.
- Enforce clear accountability and role clarity within the category supply chain team.
- Champion process consistency across categories while tailoring execution to category needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations management.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse and inventory management systems.
- Experience with Amazon FBA operations is highly desirable.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership and people management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
