About this Position
The Business Architect (Data Model) defines, governs, and evolves Henkel's enterprise data domain model. You ensure that data aligns with business capabilities, processes, and AI-ready architecture principles. You create the single source of truth for data semantics across dx, enabling composability, automation, and reliable data flows across platforms (HDP, CXP, VCP, IIoT, M365).

What you'll do
  • Define and continuously evolve the Enterprise Data Domain Model
  • Map business capabilities to data domains, ensuring consistency across all towers
  • Maintain data-to-process mappings to show data creation, consumption, and transformation points
  • Establish and govern semantic standards, taxonomies, naming conventions
  • Govern data lineage, data quality rules, and enterprise-wide data policies
  • Ensure data model compliance in projects via the Project Enablement Group
  • Identify and structure data products to support AI and automation
What makes you a good fit
  • Master's degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data governance, or business architecture
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, conceptual/semantic modeling, and enterprise data domains
  • Experience with data platforms, data cataloging tools, governance frameworks, and semantic standardization
  • Familiarity with EA frameworks (TOGAF, ArchiMate), BPMN, and process/data lineage tooling
  • Excellent communication skills for translating complex data structures to business stakeholders
