We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented IT Operations Specialist to support our on-site IDC (Internet Data Center) operations under either a 7x24 shift model or a standard 5x8 schedule. The ideal candidate will be responsible for incident response, routine inspections, equipment handling, and adherence to operational standards to ensure continuous and stable data center operations.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to incidents and complete assigned work orders, including temporary tasks, in accordance with SLA timelines.
Navigate and operate IDC monitoring systems; conduct routine inspections to proactively identify operational risks.
Handle emergency incidents accurately following EOP procedures, ensuring proper documentation and preliminary incident reporting.
Utilize ticketing systems efficiently.
Follow SOP workflows rigorously, completing work orders independently with zero-error execution and full SLA compliance.
Maintain solid understanding of IDC equipment: switches, servers, cabling, installation, racking, deployment, and maintenance standards.
Perform site surveys, provide on-site support, assist with minor construction tasks, and escalate issues when necessary.
Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science or other IT-related disciplines.
Basic understanding of data center operations and management.
Foundational exposure to data center environments is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
Basic knowledge of IT hardware and infrastructure (servers, networking gear, cabling, etc.).
Clear, logical communication and attentive listening.
Strong teamwork spirit with a cooperative approach.
High level of self-discipline, organization, and accountability.
English, German, (Chinese an advantage)
