About the Role:

Join our dynamic and collaborative SCD Development and Analysis Team within Investment Administration Insourcing Services (IAIS) as a SimCorp Dimension - Business Analyst. In this role, you will focus on business analysis across fund accounting processes in our IAIS department, turning business and regulatory requirements into sustainable system and process solutions. We are looking for a candidate who combines strong fund accounting domain knowledge with data analytics capabilities and hands-on project management experience to drive change, improve transparency and support efficient delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead business analysis of client-driven, regulatory and internal change requests within fund accounting processes.
  • Partner with stakeholders across operations, IT, customer service and clients to gather, challenge and document business requirements in a structured and transparent way.
  • Use data analytics to identify trends, root causes and optimization potential and translate insights into actionable recommendations for fund administration and reporting workflows.
  • Work closely with IT teams to design, implement, test and deploy system changes and enhancements in SimCorp Dimension and related processes.
  • Perform impact analyses for new requirements and assess operational, system, data, and control implications across the fund accounting value chain.
  • Act as a key liaison between business users and IT teams, translating business needs into clear functional, technical and process-related solution requirements.
  • Support the rollout of new modules, reporting capabilities and process changes, ensuring high-quality implementation and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Prepare user documentation, training materials and management-ready analyses to support adoption of system changes and new reporting solutions.
  • Contribute actively to projects by driving workstreams, coordinating stakeholders, managing timelines and supporting successful end-to-end delivery.
  • Apply project management discipline to planning, prioritization, risk tracking, status reporting and implementation coordination across change initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of the asset management value chain, ideally with hands-on experience in German KVG fund accounting or related back-office processes.
  • Proven experience in business analysis within a fund accounting environment; experience with a fund accounting platform is highly desirable, preferably SimCorp Dimension.
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across business, operations and technology teams at different seniority levels.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in data analysis, process improvement and translating complex information into clear recommendations and decision-ready materials.
  • Project management experience in change, transformation or system implementation initiatives is strongly preferred; knowledge of private markets is an advantage.
