As an intern in our Cash Management Sales & RFP-Team, you will play an active role in supporting large multinational corporate clients with their international payments and liquidity management needs. Positioned at the intersection of sales, client service, and project coordination, you will gain hands-on experience in global transaction banking and contribute to strategic initiatives that shape client relationships. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation and execution of RFPs (Requests for Proposal), coordinating with internal and international stakeholders, drafting service proposals, and supporting the sales team with presentations and client documentation. You will also help manage eBanking contracts, respond to client inquiries, monitor cross-border transactions, and support project work for senior management. What you'll be doing
- Supporting senior sales staff in client relationship management and prospect analysis
- Preparing presentations and pitch materials for client meetings and management briefings
- Organizing, contributing to, and responding to cash management tenders (RFPs) from multinational clients
- Creating reports and statistics based on answered RFPs and supporting strategic decision-making
- Drafting service proposals and collecting international product information
- Preparing eBanking contracts and coordinating service activation with internal departments
- Maintaining and servicing clients directly on eBanking changes (including EBICS administration)
- Answering client inquiries via phone and email regarding payments, access rights, and transaction tracing
- Supporting transaction monitoring for cross-border payments and FX conversions
- Familiarizing yourself with international cash management products and payment factory integration
- Assisting in project work for senior management, including documentation, analysis, and coordination
- Experience in Big Data Modelling or AI prompting is a plus
What you'll need to succeed
- You are passionate about finance, eager to learn, and enjoy working in a dynamic, international environment:
- Enrolled in a business-related university program (from 4th semester)
- Strong academic performance and interest in economic contexts
- Excellent communication skills and team spirit
- Fluent in English (German is a plus)
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Structured, independent, and target-oriented working style
- Comfortable working across locations and in hybrid setups
- Knowledge in Big Data Modelling, Business Intelligence, or AI tools is advantageous
