Then we are looking for you!

As a Financial Accountant (m/f/x), you will monitor daily incoming and outgoing payments and manage ongoing accounting processes.

Your responsibilities

  • Performing day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed asset accounting, and account reconciliations
  • Preparing tax filings and reports (e.g., VAT returns, EC Sales Lists, etc.)
  • Managing payment transactions and cash flow/liquidity planning
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensuring effective and efficient accounts receivable management, including dunning and collection procedures
  • Serving as a contact person for tax, social security, and customs-related matters
  • Handling additional administrative tasks as required

What you should bring

  • Successfully completed commercial/business training, ideally as a certified tax clerk/accounting specialist
  • Good knowledge of commercial and tax law; knowledge of payroll tax regulations is an advantage
  • Initial solid professional experience in financial accounting
  • Strong affinity for numbers combined with excellent analytical skills and a structured approach to work
  • Willingness to take on cross-functional responsibilities
  • Proficient in common MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel
  • Experience with ERP systems; ideally Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central (BC)
  • Good written and spoken English skills
