Job Description
YOU...
- develop and adapt onboard software (C/C++ <14) for satellite simulation and system integration environments
- analyse and manage complex interactions between subsystems, communication interfaces, and simulation building blocks
- design, configure, and troubleshoot system communication and networking interfaces (e.g., protocol-level)
- perform integration, verification, and validation activities (e.g., SIL) on system level
- support debugging, root cause analysis, and optimization in a Linux-based environment
- collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across system engineering, software, and testing
Qualifications
YOU bring...
- a degree in aerospace engineering, computer science, or a comparable technical field
- solid experience in systems integration, simulation, or embedded/software systems engineering
- strong programming skills in C/C++ and/or Python
- hands-on experience with Linux environments and integration/test setups
- good understanding of networking and communication protocols
- experience with simulation environments, test benches, or SIL/HIL setups
- familiarity with avionics, onboard software, or satellite systems
- strong analytical skills to understand complex systems and interfaces
- knowledge of Aerospace Standards: ECSS-E-ST-10, ECSS-E-ST-40, ARINC 653
- English (C2) and German (B1) skills
