Die Abteilung Retailer Services steht im Mittelpunkt der wichtigsten Herausforderungen von NielsenIQ. Unsere Mitarbeitenden pflegen tagliche Beziehungen zu FMCG und NonfoodHandlern in Deutschland, der Schweiz und Osterreich. Fur unser Team in Frankfurt und Nurnberg suchen wir einen Senior Analytic Consultant Retailer - Pricing & Loyalty, der unsere DACH Retail-Kunden zu gleichen Teilen in analytischer Retail-Beratung sowie in strategischen Pricing-Fragestellungen unterstutzt.
In dieser Rolle verbindest du klassische Retail- und Panel-Expertise mit moderner, datengetriebener Preisoptimierung und LoyaltyCardDatenanalysen und agierst als strategischer Beratungspartner fur unsere Kunden.
DEINE AUFGABEN:
Retailer Consulting & Analytics (ca. 50%)
- Aufbau und Pflege starker, langfristiger Partnerschaften mit definierten Retailer-Kunden gema vertraglicher Vereinbarungen
- Entwicklung eines tiefen Verstandnisses fur das Geschaft, die Organisation und die strategischen Ziele deiner Kunden sowie Ubersetzung von Handels, Verbraucher und ShopperDaten in umsetzbare Insights
- Erstellung und Prasentation hochwertiger Analysen und Empfehlungen in uberzeugenden Prasentationen und Workshops - virtuell sowie beim Kunden vor Ort
Pricing & Preisstrategie (ca. 50%)
- Fachliche Unterstutzung von RetailKunden bei der Nutzung von Pricing und PreisoptimierungsSoftware, einschlielich der Koordination relevanter interner und externer Stakeholder
- Arbeit mit KI und MachineLearningbasierten Pricing und Optimierungsmodellen zur Ableitung konkreter Handlungsempfehlungen
- Beratung zu PricingStrategien sowie relevanten KPIs (Preis, Umsatz, Marge) und Unterstutzung wahrend Implementierungs und GoLivePhasen zur Sicherstellung einer erfolgreichen Nutzung
Ubergreifende Verantwortung
- Verantwortung fur das operative Tagesgeschaft sowie fur laufende und neue Kundenprojekte
- Planung und Priorisierung von Aktivitaten, Identifikation neuer Projektchancen sowie Unterstutzung von Wachstumsinitiativen in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Retailer Sales Team
- Enge Zusammenarbeit mit internen Teams zur Abstimmung kundenbezogener Aktivitaten sowie kontinuierlicher Ausbau des Wissens zu NielsenIQTools und Losungen
DEIN PROFIL:
- Mehrjahrige Berufserfahrung (idealerweise 5-8 Jahre) im Bereich Retail, Pricing, Category Management, Consulting oder Analytics
- Erfahrung in der Arbeit mit RetailKPIs, Preislogiken sowie analytischen Entscheidungs und Bewertungsmodellen
- Praktische Erfahrung mit KI/MachineLearningKonzepten, idealerweise in Pricing, Forecasting oder OptimierungsUseCases, sowie die Fahigkeit, MLbasierte Ergebnisse verstandlich fur BusinessStakeholder zu erklaren
- Stark ausgepragte Zahlen und Analysekompetenz mit der Fahigkeit, komplexe Analysen in klare BusinessInsights und Handlungsempfehlungen zu ubersetzen
- Sehr gutes Verstandnis von Kundenbedurfnissen sowie hoher Qualitatsanspruch an Beratung und Ergebnisse
- Vorerfahrung mit NielsenIQ (oder vergleichbaren) HandelspanelLosungen sowie Pricing oder Optimierungstools von Vorteil

About The Role
The Retailer Services department is at the core of NielsenIQ's most important challenges. For our team in Germany (Frankfurt or Nuremberg), we are looking for a Senior Analytic Consultant Retail - Pricing & Loyalty who supports our DACH retail clients equally in analytical retail consulting and in strategic pricing topics.
In this role, you combine classic retail and panel expertise with modern, data driven price optimization and loyalty card data analytics and act as a strategic consulting partner for our clients.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Retailer Consulting & Analytics (approx. 50%)
- Build and maintain strong, longterm partnerships with assigned retail clients in line with contractual agreements
- Develop a deep understanding of clients' businesses and priorities and translate retail panel, consumer, and shopper data into actionable insights
- Deliver highquality analyses and recommendations through compelling presentations and workshops, both virtually and onsite
Pricing & Price Strategy (approx. 50%)
- Provide functional support to retail clients in the use of pricing and price optimization software, including coordination with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Work with AI and MachineLearning-based pricing and optimization models to derive actionable insights
- Advise clients on pricing strategies and KPIs (price, revenue, margin) and support implementation and golive phases to ensure successful adoption
Crossfunctional Responsibilities - Take ownership of the operational daytoday business as well as ongoing and new client projects
- Plan and prioritize activities, identify new project opportunities, and support growth initiatives in collaboration with the Retailer Sales Team
- Work closely with internal teams to align customer activities and continuously deepen knowledge of NielsenIQ tools and solutions
A Little Bit About You:
- Several years of professional experience (ideally 5-8 years) in Retail, Pricing, Category Management, Consulting, or Analytics
- Experience working with retail KPIs, pricing logics, and analytical decisionmaking models
- Handson experience to AI / Machine Learning concepts, ideally in pricing, forecasting, or optimization use cases, with the ability to explain MLdriven results to business stakeholders
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable business insights and recommendations
- Very good understanding of client needs and a high quality standard for consulting and deliverables
- Prior experience with NielsenIQ (or comparable) retail panel solutions as well as pricing or optimization tools is a plus
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Fluent German and very good English skills, both written and spoken
- Strong communication skills, quick adaptability to new tools and concepts, and confidence working with diverse stakeholder groups
- Structured, selfdriven working style with strong persuasion, project management, and selforganization skills
- Willingness to travel, especially for onsite client support after golive phases
- Strong team spirit and enthusiasm for crossfunctional collaboration
