As a Site Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of all operational activities at a customer-operated semiconductor manufacturing site. You will lead a team of skilled technicians in areas such as Total Gas Management (TGM) and logistics management.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Take ownership of developing, implementing, and monitoring a comprehensive EHS and compliance program, including risk assessments, emergency management, audits, and adherence to SEMI, OSHA, and environmental standards
- Ensure a robust Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO standards and continuously optimize processes to reduce downtime and enhance operational reliability
- Lead incident investigations using the 8D methodology, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions
- Provide both disciplinary and technical leadership to an expert team, including resource planning, training, certifications, and fostering a culture of safety, quality, and excellence
- Oversee operations related to gas and chemical supply (bulk, subfab, point-of-use) and ensure flawless material availability for advanced manufacturing processes
- Manage financial and contractual matters, including maintaining existing customer contracts, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and developing value-added solutions to improve fab efficiency
- Prepare and communicate KPI-based reports, actively manage customer relationships, ensure timely escalation of relevant issues, and collaborate closely with global teams to implement best practices
Show your expertise
- Degree in engineering or a certified technician/master craftsman qualification (m/f/d) with at least 5 years of experience in gas supply and 3 years of leadership experience
- Hands-on experience with high-purity gas systems, cleanroom environments, and semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing processes
- Strong knowledge of contract management, financial processes, and quality systems (including SEMI standards, ISO 9001, EHS)
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with ERP or MES systems is an advantage
- High willingness to work in a dynamic 24/7 production environment combined with a strong commitment to continuous improvement
