Role Overview:
Your role is to bring to life Brand, Hardware, Exclusive Games, Third Party games, Peripheral and Services global marketing strategies locally by developing, augmenting and executing campaigns to ensure they create impact and resonate with locally audiences. Leading the execution of go to market strategies, you'll work collaboratively with the wider marketing team and their respective agencies to deliver on key marketing and business KPI's.
What you'll be doing:
- ResponsibleforCampaignManagementofBrand,Hardware,ExclusiveGames,ThirdPartygames,Peripheralsand Servicesaccordingtothefiscalyearprioritiesandlaunches.
- WorkwithGlobalProductMarketingtodisseminateproductinformationandglobalstrategies,providefeedbackonlocalmarketnuancesandevangelisetheproductinternally.
- Leadlocalmarketingcampaignactivitythroughouttheproductlifecycle(market&audienceinsight,agencybrief,marketingplan,aboveandbelowthelinemarketingactivities,post-campaignanalysis),actingasfirstpointofcontactonownedprojectsforallinternaldepartments(Commercial,ChannelExperience,Communications,Operations,Finance).
- Projectmanagetheplanning,briefing,localisationandexecutionofglobalmarketingcampaignsincludingpaidmedia,coordinatingmultichanneloutputs-andtrackingapprovalstoensurecampaignsaredeliveredontime.
- Guardian/championofthePlayStationbrandandExclusiveGamesIPsthroughmanagement,development,andapprovalofPlayStationbrandassetsonExclusive GamesandThirdPartycampaigns.
- WorkcloselywiththePlayerInsight,Engagement&Mediateamto
- UtiliseexistingresearchmaterialsandplayerinsightstoensureafullunderstandingofouraudienceandtheimpactofourcampaignsagainstagreedobjectivesandKPIs.
- Understandlocalmarketnuancesandlocalmedia&consumer/playerinsightstocreateimpactfulcampaignsincontextofglobalstrategies.
- PartnerwiththeCommunityandCulturalActivationsTeamonconsumerengagementactivitiessuchasevents,socialmedia,andcommunityinitiativesthatleverageculturalnuancesand/orresonatewithlocalaudiences.
- AssisttheCommercialandChannelExperienceteamsinthedevelopmentofrelevantcampaignmaterialsforretailchannels.
- DevelopacloserelationshipwithThirdPartypartnersand globalThird Partyrelations teamtoeffectivelyimplementglobalmarketingpartnershipsthatmeetglobalandlocalbusinessKPI's.
- WorkcloselywithotherCampaignManagers,ensuringthatindividualcampaignactivationsandcreativeexecutionsformpartofawider,coherentcampaignandbrandpositioning.
- Manageexternalagenciesonprojectstoensuretimelydevelopmentofmarketingassetsandotherrelatedactivities.
- Creation of ad-hoc campaign status/summary reports for regional and global use.
- Participateinlocal/regionalworkinggroupstoaddressbusinesschallenges/opportunities.
- Be"thevoiceoftheplayer"withinthebusinesstomaintainfocusonthecustomerwhilealsomeetingbusinessgoals.
- Continualanalysisofcompetitiveproductsandcompetitoractivityacrossmarketing,CommercialandPRtoensurePlayStationcampaignsaredeliveringbest-in-marketresults.
- Prudentobservationoffinanceprocessesincludingbudgetmanagement,timelyPR&POprocessing,on-goinganalysisofopenPOsandinvoicerecognitiontoensurebalancesareclosedtoallowfortimelyre-investment.
- MonitoringofthelocalageratingprocesswiththeUSK,includingpreparationofUSKsubmissionformandforwardingoftestresultstotherelevantglobalteams.
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years' (or equivalent) experience in a campaign marketing, brand marketing, or related role.
- Exceptional organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellentcommunication/written/presentationskillswithhighattentiontodetail.
- Powertoworkautonomouslybutcollaborativelyinateamenvironmentwithminimaldirection.
- Confidentcommunicatorwithdemonstratedabilitytoinfluenceandmanagestakeholdersandexternalsuppliersonalocalandgloballevel.
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to take ownership.
- Naturallycollaborativewithastrongemphasisonbuildingandleveragingrelationshipsbothinternallyandexternally.
- A passion for understanding consumer behaviour, using insights, data, and market trends to identify opportunities and deliver impactful marketing solutions.
Desirable:
- A genuine interest and/or passion for gaming, entertainment, or digital consumer brands.
- Experience working within the gaming, technology, entertainment, or media industries.
