Your Tasks

  • Based on a thorough literature review, you will systematically summarize the current state of research on care ethics for the project.
  • You will develop a care-ethical framework for issues related to mobility systems, drawing on debates regarding mobility and transport justice as well as energy ethics.
  • Through publications and academic presentations, you will make your research findings visible and contribute to the scholarly discussion in this field.
  • Together with the participants of the International Research Training Group CL4Land, you will actively shape international research collaboration.
  • You will cooperate in particular with the University of Melbourne's parallel project on road infrastructure, indigenous land rights, food security, and forest areas in South Palawan, and jointly address empirical questions regarding vulnerability, mobility systems, and care.


Your Profile

  • a completed academic degree (Master) in philosophy
  • basic knowledge of empirical social research
  • in-depth knowledge of ethics and, ideally, care ethics
  • very good written and spoken English skills
  • openness to working in interdisciplinary collaborations
  • strong ability to reflect and work in a team
  • ability to present complex academic topics precisely
  • interest in international research collaboration and scientific communication
