About Our Program

You'll be joining the JD Vanguard (JDV) Graduate Program, our frontline leadership pathway for the next generation of supply chain talent. Over the course of a year, you'll take on real projects, build technical and people-leadership skills, and learn how JD Logistics operates at a global level, with the opportunity to extend and continue your journey.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to manage and coordinate the efficient routing and scheduling of our field teams and resources. This role is crucial for ensuring timely service delivery and operational effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities

• Optimize routes and schedules to maximize efficiency, minimize travel time, and meet service level agreements.
• Prioritize and dispatch field technicians, drivers, or other personnel based on urgency, location, and availability.
• Address and resolve issues or emergencies that arise during dispatches, escalating when necessary.
• Communicate and document effectively with field personnel, clients, and internal departments through incoming service requests, calls, and emails to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare reports on dispatch activities, resource utilization, and key performance indicators.
• Work onsite at Brandenburgische Str., 14974 Ludwigsfelde, Germany

Minimum Qualifications

• Fluency in German (B2 and above) and English for effective communication within the team and with clients.
• Proven experience as a dispatcher or in a similar logistics/coordination role.
• Proficient in using dispatching software, GPS systems, and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
