Tasks:
- Responsible for defining, implementing, and managing quality measures in proposals and projects
- Responsible for communicating quality-related issues with customers, ZtQ, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Monitoring compliance with all processes in projects
- Independent assessment of project/product status for internal company and departmental reporting
- Responsible for creating, establishing, and maintaining the quality management plan, the test plan, and the document overview
- Responsible for initiating and creating test and acceptance plans
- Responsible for planning, preparing, and documenting quality gates (QG)
- Responsible for planning, conducting, and evaluating engineering reviews (ER)
- Monitoring the implementation of defined measures from the ER and QG
- Responsible for coordinating reviews of project documents and their approval
- Participating in the creation of project-related documents (e.g., development plan, test plan, integration and verification plan)
- Participation in/conduct of preliminary inspections/inspections with customers and suppliers
- Involvement in the selection of suppliers and participation in supplier audits
- Responsible for defining quality criteria for orders placed with suppliers
- Review and approval of purchase orders with regard to quality requirements
- Responsible for coordinating, conducting, and deciding on the approval of first-article inspections at and with suppliers
- Responsible for production and series release at suppliers
- Responsible for coordinating, conducting, and deciding on production release at RME
- Responsible for deciding on release for product inspection by the customer
- Review and approval of test reports, outgoing goods inspections, and approval for shipment to customers
- Responsible for raising objections and rejecting services in the event of non-compliance
- Responsible for compiling all information needed to assess product conformity, to assist authorized signatories in their decision-making
- Responsible for issuing factory certificates and other product certificates
- Co-decision-making regarding the acceptance of defective purchased parts
- Co-decision-making regarding the approval of change requests
- Responsible for reporting the results from ER, QG, as well as customer acceptance or delivery inspections into the department's internal ticket tools
- Responsible for planning and estimating the scope of work for a Project
- Quality Manager (m/f/d) for future projects within the context of proposals
- Responsibility for assigned project cost centers, participation in Cost-to-Complete
- Collaboration on and facilitation of cross-project and cross-departmental quality initiatives (4D, 8D, CIP)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
- Several years of relevant experience in project-based quality management
- Practical knowledge of QM and development standards
- Practical experience with system, hardware, and software development methods
- Practical experience with verification and testing methods
- Excellent knowledge of test procedures/methods as well as review/audit techniques
- Business-level proficiency in German and English (spoken and written)
- Goal-oriented and independent work style
- Confident demeanor and communication skills at all organizational levels
- Ability to handle conflict
- Willingness to travel worldwide
