Job Description:
The role of the Customer Activation Leader is to define and own the customer plans across the entire portfolio for the accounts assigned and to deliver these holistic activation plans with excellence to enable category growth.
To do so the customized activity plans should be defined based on a deep understanding of the customer strategy, the category potentials for the specific accounts as well as of any specific customer agreements (such as trade promotions intensity or any further customer specificities) that should be considered when building the plans.
The Customer Activation Leader works very closely with the KAM teams, Category Leadership, Portfolio as well as SRM and in addition represents Mars Wrigley externally in scope of strategic customer meetings that involve promotion planning and post activation reviews.

What would be your key responsibilities?
- Owns the holistic customer activation plans and acts as an expert for the key customers assigned translating national activities into the right customer activations leveraging new potentials.
- Develops tailor-made activities for our key customers in partnership with Sales, Portfolio and SRM to create additional uplifts while contributing to build our brands.
- Regularly tracks performance of activations (in-store and online) for customers assigned using market, customer as well as internal data and derives recommendations for continuous improvement to be shared within SDL and the S&OP Cycle.
- Shapes a strong customer centric team together with Category Leadership and KAM.
- Ensures that displays and assortment cases are adapted for the customers' needs while remaining as lean as possible and meeting the financial KPIs.
- Holds a leadership role within in the team as one of the most senior team members.
- Collaborates closely with stakeholders on all levels within the One Demand Team: KAM-Team, Category Leadership,Portfolio, SRM, if applicable Field Force team.
- Proactively identifies and monitors customer potentials.
