About the Role:
Your mission will be to work alongside our Software Engineers and deliver high quality software by developing API, test automation and infrastructure for the public facing Web Application (GUI/API), and improving the quality of the product and the customer experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, innovative, and an effective communicator with a mix of curiosity, passion, and results-driven. You will be involved in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle and engage with the latest software technologies. You will also be part of a cross-functional team working in an Agile, highly collaborative, cross-functional environment in which we strive to build quality into every step of the delivery process.
This is a part-time, in-office position based in our Berlin office approximately 3 days per week.
Impact You'll Own:
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements analysis to deployment. Including:
- Development
- Test Automation
- Deployment
- Enhancing existing tools and test automation frameworks, microservice applications and test data management
- Support internal workflows and prepare documentation
What You Bring:
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's/Master's degree
- Basic knowledge of Python or Javascript/Typescript
- Tech savvy, eager to learn new technologies and skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
- Creative thinker with the ability to approach problems from multiple angles
- Professional working proficiency in English, the language of the company
What Makes You Stand Out:
- Development background using Python, Javascript, Typescript, Git
- Web Application development experience
- CI/CD experience
- Familiarity with testing practices, API testing and Python (pytest)
- Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented
