Senior Frontend Engineer

You will join a fast-growing product engineering environment focused on building scalable, high-performance frontend systems for modern SaaS infrastructure. In this role, you will take ownership of a complex frontend application used by high-profile companies and contribute directly to the evolution of a critical developer-facing product. You will work closely with Product and Backend Engineering teams to design, build, and ship robust features that combine usability, performance, and long-term maintainability. The environment is highly autonomous and requires strong ownership, proactive decision-making, and the ability to navigate ambiguity. You will also play a key role in shaping frontend architecture, improving observability, and maintaining design system consistency across the platform. This is a high-impact role for an experienced engineer who thrives in fast-paced, technically demanding, and collaborative product teams.
Accountabilities:
- Own and evolve a complex frontend application, ensuring high standards of performance, reliability, scalability, and usability across all features.
- Collaborate with Product and Backend Engineering teams to design and implement new features from concept through to production delivery.
- Build, maintain, and scale a robust design system to ensure UI consistency and efficient development across the product.
- Improve frontend observability by implementing monitoring, logging, and debugging practices to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Drive frontend architecture decisions, ensuring long-term maintainability and technical excellence.
- Work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, taking full ownership of tasks and delivering them end-to-end.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices, code quality, and development workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend engineering with strong expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Expert-level proficiency in React and its ecosystem.
- Proven experience building and scaling design systems in production environments.
- Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization, monitoring, and observability practices.
- Comfortable working in autonomous, fast-moving, and ambiguous environments.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Engineering, and Design teams.
- Ownership-driven mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Commitment to high-quality engineering, including maintainability, scalability, and performance.
Nice to have:
- Experience with GraphQL.
- Exposure to developer tools, infrastructure products, or open-source ecosystems.
