Key Responsibilities:
Engage in research and ideation projects exploring the potential of low-code, cloud, AI, generative AI, and agentic technologies tailored for manufacturing domains
Support the development of proof-of-concept solutions combining low-code platforms (Mendix) with generative AI capabilities
Document and share reference architectures and innovative approaches to ensure they are well-structured and easily understood
Conduct research into competitive landscapes and business opportunities to help us stay ahead of industry trends
Analyze internal data from systems like Salesforce and SAP using tools such as Power BI to inform business decisions and validate new growth areas
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the translation of research findings into actionable business insights
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
Strong interest in low-code platforms (Mendix experience is a plus), artificial intelligence, machine learning, and generative AI
Eagerness to understand and contribute to the manufacturing industry
Analytical mindset with enjoyment of working with data and ideally some experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, Python for data analysis)
Good communication skills in English (written and spoken); German is a plus
Proactive and independent mindset with a desire to learn and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic understanding or curiosity about enterprise software such as PLM, ERP (SAP), CRM (Salesforce), or other Siemens Xcelerator portfolio tools
Previous experience with low-code development or AI/machine learning projects
Familiarity with business process automation or manufacturing workflows

Compensation & Benefits
The hourly rate for this position is 17.00 per hour. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
