Partner Account Manager North

Summary

The Partner Account Manager (PAM) is responsible for driving growth, revenue, and performance across the indirect channel in Germany. The role focuses on developing existing partners, recruiting new partners in strategic gaps, and increasing partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue.

Working closely with resellers, OEMs, machine tool builders, and internal sales teams, the PAM builds and executes joint business plans, drives pipeline generation, and promotes integrated manufacturing solutions. Success in this role requires a strong sales mindset, partner development expertise, commercial acumen, and the ability to build trusted relationships across multiple stakeholder groups.

Job Responsibilities

Partner Development & Performance
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of partners across Germany.
  • Create and execute partner business plans aligned with regional objectives.
  • Monitor partner performance against agreed KPIs and growth targets.
  • Build strong executive-level relationships and provide actionable business insights.


Sales & Channel Growth
  • Own partner-led pipeline development and revenue generation.
  • Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced opportunities.
  • Identify market coverage gaps and recruit new partners where needed.
  • Collaborate with direct sales teams to maximise channel engagement and revenue.


OEM & Ecosystem Development
  • Develop relationships with key OEMs and machine tool builders.
  • Promote end-to-end manufacturing workflows and integrated software solutions.
  • Support the creation of repeatable, validated solutions with partners and OEMs.
  • Drive strategic initiatives that enhance market differentiation and growth.


Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, technical, and partner teams to execute a consistent go-to-market strategy.
  • Support partner enablement, training, and adoption programmes.
  • Ensure effective coordination between direct and indirect sales channels.


Qualifications

  • Proven track record in sales, channel, or partner management.
  • Experience building, developing, and growing partner ecosystems.
  • Strong commercial, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Ability to drive pipeline, forecast accurately, and manage performance through KPIs.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Understanding of manufacturing, OEM, machine tool, or industrial software environments is advantageous.
  • Fluent German and good English skills.
