Your tasks
- You own and continuously improve the Mixed-Signal ASIC design environment (EDA toolchain & flows)
- You support analog and digital designers in complex CAD/EDA topics
- You integrate and maintain PDKs, EDA tools and simulation environments
- You troubleshoot design flow and tool issues across the full ASIC lifecycle
- You collaborate with EDA vendors (e.g. Cadence) and foundries
- You automate and optimize design workflows (scripting, infrastructure)

Your qualifications
- You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with several years of experience.
- You have proven experience in an ASIC / IC design environment or in CAD engineering
- You have strong hands-on experience with EDA tools (Cadence or similar)
- You have solid Linux/Unix and scripting skills (e.g. Tcl, Perl, Python)
- You have experience with Mixed-Signal or SoC design flows
- Experience with Spectre / AMS / Xrun, which would be an advantage
- Knowledge of compute farms (LSF, Grid), which would be an advantage
- Fluent knowledge of German and English language complete your profile
