The department of Planetary Sciences and Remote Sensing participates in experiments on ESA and NASA space missions. Part of the working group is concerned with planetary imaging techniques and is involved in the Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover mission, with a focus on photogrammetry and imaging techniques. The contributions to the mission include topography modelling and innovative visualization techniques.
We are looking for a student assistant to help create and convert datasets, perform data maintenance, and carry out routine tasks.

Job description:
- Validation of image and 3D data
- Data editing and conversion
- Maintaining visualisation environments
- Administrative routine tasks
Desirable:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject
- Good computer skills
- Good knowledge of English (written and oral)
The following would also be of advantage:
- Experience with Linux and the command line
- Experience in programming in either Python or JavaScript
- Background in planetary sciences
