Your tasks:

Leading and developing the Mechanical Design Team
Management of external and internal resources, including ensuring adherence to deadlines
Oversight of ongoing projects, support, and approval, including designs, calculations, layouts, and documentation
Ensuring compliance with technical standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements
Continuous improvement of processes, tools, and methods
Strengthening cost competitiveness through design-to-cost strategies and standardization
Collaboration with other departments

Required profile:

Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering with a focus on mechanical design and/or plant engineering or process engineering
At least 10 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in the field of furnace technology/heat treatment
Leadership skills, technical expertise, and intercultural competence
Proficiency in working with 2D and 3D CAD systems as well as PDM systems
Excellent German and English language skills
Occasional travel (worldwide)
