Working Student - Supply Chain Management
About the role
As a Working Student (m/f/d) in SCM (Supply Chain Management), you will support our SCM team in day-to-day tasks such as incoming goods, shipment preparation, and customs documentation, as well as in communication with suppliers and freight forwarders. In addition, you will assist within procurement such as obtaining quotations, placing purchase orders, and maintaining supplier and material master data in our ERP system. This position gives you hands-on insights into the entire supply chain of a NewSpace company and allows you to work closely with different departments to streamline processes and contribute to the success of our space projects.
The role is part-time (20 hrs/wk) and fixed-term (starting as soon as possible, lasting approx. 1 year). The role requires on-site presence in Germering.
Responsibilities
Support inbound and outbound logistics (goods receipt, shipments, dispatch preparation)
Assist in preparing and managing shipping and customs documents
Help coordinate deliveries and work with transport service providers
Support procurement tasks such as collecting quotes and placing orders
Maintain and update supplier and material master data in our ERP system (Odoo)
Contribute to process improvement projects in logistics and procurement
Create reports and analyses (delivery times, costs, stock levels)
Candidate profile must-haves
Enrolled student in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
Independent, structured, and detail-oriented way of working
Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
Driver's license (B)
Candidate profile nice-to-haves
First practical experience in logistics or procurement is an advantage
Basic knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. Odoo, SAP) is a plus
