Your future role


Mass transit demand is growing rapidly, especially in cities like Hamburg. Our Digital & Integrated Systems (D&IS) team drives innovation in digitalization and communications-based train control (CBTC) technology.


As Project Installation Engineering Lead, you will lead and coordinate Installation Engineering activities across projects, ensuring efficient delivery of documentation, alignment with stakeholders, and adherence to quality, cost, and delivery objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and play a key role in enabling successful project execution.


We'll look for you to:


Lead and coordinate the Installation Engineering team across countries
Define deliverables, schedules, and workloads, ensuring alignment with project needs
Manage documentation validation with internal and external stakeholders
Monitor progress and ensure timely delivery in line with project milestones
Support Project Management on QCD targets, including risk identification and mitigation
Interface with stakeholders to ensure smooth data flow and deliverables
Ensure compliance with Installation Engineering processes, standards, and continuous improvement

Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
Experience in railway site management and strong knowledge of railway systems
Minimum 5 years' experience in design, engineering, or construction projects
Experience working with Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) objectives
Knowledge of BIM tools/processes and EHS practices is a plus
Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills
Team player with a structured, quality-focused, and resilient mindset


Fluent English is mandatory; German is an advantage.
