Associate Director, Europe Sales & Business Operations
The Associate Director, Europe Sales & Business Operations serves as a strategic and operational partner to the DACH leadership team while supporting broader commercial buildout across Europe.
This role is responsible for driving regional sales execution, operational excellence, and business planning. The AD will translate strategy into scalable processes, enable commercial builds in new and existing markets, ensure operational rigor, and support effective execution within a complex, multicountry environment.
Responsibilities:
Regional Sales & Business Operations Leadership
- Serve as the primary business operations partner to Europe Commercial leadership, supporting launch readiness, execution, and ongoing performance
- Translate European commercial strategy into regional operating plans, sales processes, and execution frameworks
- Drive consistent operating rhythms across European markets while allowing for countryspecific needs
- Support commercial builds and expansion across Europe, initially focused on DACH and extending to additional markets.
Performance Management & Analytics
- Partner with Sales, Finance, and Business Analytics to support performance management and insights
- Leverage dashboards and executivelevel reporting to provide visibility into performance, risks, and opportunities
- Support incentive compensation execution, quota deployment, and target setting where applicable
Commercial Planning & Launch Readiness
- Partner with crossfunctional stakeholders (Marketing, Market Access, Medical, Finance) to support integrated launch planning across Europe
- Ensure operational readiness for new product launches, indications, or market expansions
- Enable coordinated execution of commercial builds in new countries and evolving markets
Process Excellence & Governance
- Design and implement scalable commercial processes, ensuring compliance with European regulations and company policies
- Drive process standardization where appropriate while respecting countrylevel regulatory requirements
- Support implementation of new tools, systems, and operating models to enable regional growth
Stakeholder & CrossFunctional Partnership
- Act as a connector across Sales, Finance, HR, Legal/Compliance, IT, and global Commercial Operations
- Influence and facilitate alignment across multiple countries and senior stakeholders
- Support executive meetings, regional business reviews, and leadership forums
Operational Discipline & Financial Stewardship
- Partner with Finance to manage regional operating budgets, expense governance, and vendor oversight
- Ensure accurate tracking, documentation, and compliance across regional commercial activities
- Monitor external vendor partnerships supporting sales operations or business analytics

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Technical Proficiencies:
- Demonstrated capability in sales planning, analytics, forecasting, and crossfunctional execution
- Strong understanding of European commercial complexity, including market access variability and regulatory considerations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage senior leaders and influence decisionmaking
- Willingness to travel regionally within Europe to support launches, partner meetings, and key initiatives
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 8+ years of progressive experience in commercial operations, sales operations, or business operations within biopharma, biotech, or specialty pharma
- Experience supporting regional or multicountry commercial organizations (Europe strongly preferred)
The pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position is 110,000 - 125.000; the pay ultimately offered may vary based on legitimate considerations, including geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
