Key Responsibilities
- Engages in business development activities and supports the growth of the German Immigration practice;
- Builds and maintains strong client relationships and identifies opportunities for additional services and cross-selling;
- Participates in and contributes to RFPs, client pitches and proposal development;
- Acts as a speaker at client seminars, webinars and industry events;
- Acts as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients;
- Proactively monitors the immigration process for a portfolio of clients;
- Ensures compliance with German immigration requirements and procedures;
- Monitors KPIs, SLAs, engagement budgets and profitability;
- Manages VIP cases and delivers exceptional client service;
- Makes proactive suggestions regarding process improvements and efficiency initiatives;
- Works effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g. tax, social security) and international offices;
- Contributes to developing and leading a team of high-performing specialists and associates;
- Drives risk management checks for new and ongoing clients.
Required Profile
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in German immigration law, either in a corporate environment, a professional services firm, or an immigration service provider;
- Admission to the German Bar (Rechtsanwalt/Rechtsanwältin) is an advantage but not required;
- Strong technical knowledge of German immigration law and related compliance requirements;
- Experience managing complex client relationships and large-scale immigration programs;
- Proven business development and client relationship management experience, including identifying growth and cross-selling opportunities;
- Commercially minded with a strong understanding of client needs, service delivery, and profitability;
- Experience working with multinational companies and international stakeholders;
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills;
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands;
- Team player with strong leadership capabilities and experience managing and developing people;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment;
- Superior written and verbal communication skills in German and English;
- Willingness to travel as required.

- Aktive Mitwirkung an Business-Development-Aktivitäten und Unterstützung des Wachstums der deutschen Immigration-Praxis;
- Aufbau und Pflege langfristiger Mandantenbeziehungen sowie Identifizierung von Cross-Selling- und Wachstumspotenzialen;
- Mitwirkung an Ausschreibungen (RFPs), Pitches und der Erstellung von Angeboten;
- Durchführung von Mandantenseminaren, Webinaren und Fachvorträgen;

- Proaktive Steuerung und Überwachung von Immigration-Fällen für ein eigenes Mandantenportfolio;
- Sicherstellung der Einhaltung aller relevanten deutschen aufenthaltsrechtlichen Anforderungen und Prozesse;
- Überwachung von KPIs, SLAs, Budgets und Profitabilität von Mandaten;
- Betreuung komplexer und strategisch wichtiger VIP-Fälle;
- Identifizierung und Umsetzung von Prozessverbesserungen und Effizienzmaßnahmen;
- Enge Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Fachbereichen (z. B. Tax, Social Security) sowie internationalen Teams und Standorten;
- Mitwirkung bei der fachlichen Führung und Weiterentwicklung eines leistungsstarken Teams von Specialists und Associates;
- Durchführung und Überwachung von Risk-Management- und Compliance-Prüfungen für neue und bestehende Mandanten.
Anforderungsprofil
- Mindestens 10 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Bereich des deutschen Aufenthaltsrechts, entweder in einem Unternehmen, einer Kanzlei, einer Professional-Services-Organisation oder bei einem Immigration-Service-Provider;
- Zulassung als Rechtsanwalt/Rechtsanwältin ist von Vorteil, jedoch keine Voraussetzung;
- Fundierte Kenntnisse des deutschen Aufenthaltsrechts sowie der damit verbundenen Compliance-Anforderungen;
- Erfahrung in der Betreuung komplexer Mandantenbeziehungen und größerer Immigration-Programme;
- Nachweisbare Erfahrung in Business Development, Mandantenentwicklung und der Identifizierung von Wachstums- und Cross-Selling-Potenzialen;
- Ausgeprägtes kommerzielles Verständnis sowie ein gutes Gespür für Mandantenbedürfnisse, Servicequalität und Profitabilität;
- Erfahrung im Umgang mit multinationalen Unternehmen und internationalen Stakeholdern;
- Ausgezeichnete Kommunikations-, Präsentations- und Stakeholder-Management-Fähigkeiten;
- Starke analytische und organisatorische Fähigkeiten sowie die Fähigkeit, Prioritäten in einem dynamischen Umfeld zu setzen;
- Ausgeprägte Team- und Führungskompetenz sowie Erfahrung in der Entwicklung und Führung von Mitarbeitern;
- Fähigkeit, in einem anspruchsvollen und mandantenorientierten Umfeld erfolgreich zu agieren;
