You will act as a bridge across multiple functions, enabling seamless collaboration through optimized tools, automation, and well-defined methodologies.

The role combines hands-on development with architectural thinking: you will both build solutions and define frameworks that shape how safety engineering work is executed across the organization.

Your Responsibilities
  • Enable efficient and standardized safety workflows across cross-functional teams
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve methodologies, processes, and toolchains for safety engineering
  • Develop automation solutions using scripting and APIs to improve productivity and reduce manual effort
  • Ensure interoperability and integration between various engineering tools and platforms
  • Leverage AI-based approaches where meaningful to enhance efficiency and data usage
  • Build automated reports and dashboards (e.g., for status tracking and project transparency)
  • Create and maintain high-quality documentation, consolidating insights from multiple internal systems
  • Support teams in adopting improved workflows and tools, acting as a technical enabler and advisor

Your Profile
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor or a related high-tech industry
  • Strong expertise in tooling, automation, and engineering workflows
  • Proven experience in:
    • Scripting and software development (e.g., Python, Java)
    • Designing and implementing automation solutions and scalable workflows
  • Experience working with engineering tools such as:
    • Jira, Git (GitHub/Bitbucket)
    • ELM / requirements management tools
    • System modeling tools
    • Safety analysis tools
  • Solid understanding of configuration management environments
  • Ability to operate on both levels:
    • Hands-on developer (implementing scripts and integrations)
    • Architect (defining methodologies and best practices)
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and working across diverse tool landscapes
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on efficiency, automation, and scalability
  • Ideally experience with AI tools or automation platforms (e.g., Copilot, Power BI, Power Automate)
  • Ideally a background in functional safety environments

Please note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks. The assignment may/will be in scope of security certifications, therefore a conscious and reliable way of working is necessary
