About the Position:
You will serves as the Program Manager and principal subject matter expert for the Command's Vendor Threat Mitigation (VTM) program to minimize risk to forces, risk to mission, to prevent inadvertent funding of adversaries, and to promote effectiveness of commercial support to operations.Qualifications:Who May Apply: Only applicants who meet one of the employment authority categories below are eligible to apply for this job. In order to qualify, you must meet the Expereince requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which includes: develop and manage vendor threat mitigation policies and procedures; and lead cross-functional teams of intelligence, operations, and contracting personnel to identify and mitigate vendor threats; and analyze adversary reliance on commercial support to develop strategies that mitigate risk to the Joint Force; and integrate vendor threat mitigation processes into plans, operations, and exercises.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).Education:This job does not have an education qualification requirement.Employment Type: OTHER
