Internship - Market Entry Associate (m/w/d)

We are looking for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial intern to help us validate market opportunities and support the launch of our business in emerging markets across Latin America, Africa and Southeast Asia. This unique field-based role combines market research, strategy and international business development.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Learn and understand our product, business model, and India Go-to-Market playbook
• Develop qualitative and quantitative research frameworks for field activities
• Identify potential gaps and risks in current market assumptions
• Conduct in-depth interviews with consumers, partners, vendors, and key stakeholders
• Analyse local competitors, pricing models, and distribution dynamics
• Assess infrastructure readiness, regulatory requirements, and potential market-entry partners
• Deliver bi-weekly market intelligence reports and strategic recommendations
• Analyse field data to identify customer needs, market opportunities, and product-market fit gaps
• Develop market entry strategies covering pricing, marketing channels, partnerships, and hiring plans
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a final Go/No-Go decision review

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• International experience through internships, exchange programs, research projects, or similar experiences
• Understanding of market entry, internationalization, and Go-to-Market frameworks
• Knowledge of DC charging technology and e-mobility markets is an advantage
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with a high degree of autonomy
• Ability to turn complex field observations into structured insights and executive-level presentations
• Excellent communication skills and confidence interacting with senior stakeholders
• Professional proficiency in English; additional languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, or Southeast Asian languages are a strong plus
