We are looking for a talentedOEM Aftermarket Account Manager(m/w/d)to join our team specializing inSalesfor ourCentral and Northern Sales TeaminGross-Gerau, Hessen,Germany.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Manage a portfolio of small to mid-sized OEM customers in Central and Northern Europe, many of whom are industry "hidden champions."
- Act as the regional aftermarket accountmanager, ensuring smooth alignment across supply chain, order management, service, pricing, and engineering teams.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships by staying in close contact with customers, understanding their challenges, and addressing all aftermarket-related needs.
- Develop tailored account strategies to support customer growth, strengthen partnerships, and increase Cummins' overall share of wallet.
- Represent the aftermarket function in cross-functional account teams and serve as the internal "voice of the customer."
- Gather and analyze market-specific intelligence toidentifytrends and unlock new opportunities foraftermarketsales growth.
- Support cross-selling initiatives and proactively coordinate potential affiliation contracts to expand business reach.
- Improve operational performance by working with customers on forecast accuracy,monitoringopen orders, reviewing delivery performance, and managing escalations.
Education/ Experience:
- A college or university degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Basic professional experience in a relevant field is required; experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Commercial and analytical strength, including experience with partnerships and affiliations, pricing and margin tools, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), ERP/SAP, and performance analytics.
- Operational know-how across demand planning, supply chain fundamentals, and the ability to resolve delivery, logistics, and quality issues.
- Cross-functional and project management skills, with experience collaborating across Engineering, Service, Supply Chain, and Quality functions, as well as working with structured reviews and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong soft skills, including the ability to build relationships with technical customers, high attention to detail, the capability to translate technical topics into commercial value, adaptability, and a strong willingness to learn.
- Fluency in English and German at a B2 proficiency level is a prerequisite for this position.
