Our Client is a vibrant Restaurant & Bar in Heilderberg, Germany With a seating capacity for nearly 200 guests, both indoors and outdoors, The Restaurant & Bar is a unique venue for various events and unforgettable dining experiences. The kitchen is serving Brunch & Dinner. Restaurant opening hours: Monday Thursday: 5 p.m. Dinner only service ( kitchen until 10 p.m. ) Friday, Saturday: 10 p.m. to 2 p.m. ( kitchen until 11 p.m. ) Sunday: 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. ( kitchen until 9 p.m. ) We are seeking a talented and innovative Head Chef to lead the kitchen team from 01/02/2024 As the Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our culinary vision to life. You will be responsible for creating and executing Mediterranean/ European fusion-inspired dishes, while also contributing to our playful and creative approach to cuisine Lead a team of 5 kitchen staff in creating exceptional dishes in line with our unique culinary concept. Develop and execute innovative menus that combine the elegance of French Mediterranean cuisine with coastal flavors of the Cote d'Azur. Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency in every dish served. Collaborate with the restaurant management team to maintain a cohesive and creative dining experience. Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, plating, and quality control. Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain operational efficiency. Train and develop kitchen staff to uphold the creative and high-quality standards Communicate effectively in German with both the kitchen team and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless operations. Requirements Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-quality Restaurant & Bar, specializing in European and Mediterranean fusion cuisine. Proficiency in Mediterranean culinary techniques and a creative approach to blending flavors. Asian cuisine knowledge is a plus Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills. An innovative and playful approach to food and menu development. Ability to communicate in German fluently. A passion for creating unique and memorable dining experiences. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Fluent German language & English language Benefits Salary: between 2,800-3,200 EUR/Net per month x 12 months payment Working conditions: 5 working days, 2 days off Tips: 500-600 EUR net per month Accommodation: provided shared apartment/ private room, all bills paid at a cost of 500 EUR per month
