Ready to take ownership of a global payroll landscape and shape its future?
In this role, you will lead the global strategy, governance, and transformation of Payroll & Time Management, ensuring scalable, compliant, and future-ready solutions across multiple regions.
Your Impact
In this highly visible global leadership role, you will:
- Own the global Payroll & Time Management landscape: Define and drive the global operating model, ensuring consistency, compliance, and scalability across countries
- Lead transformation initiatives: Drive global Payroll and Time transformation programs, including system evolution, process harmonization, and integration within the HR roadmap
- Govern vendor ecosystem: Manage and steer global payroll providers (e.g. ADP), ensuring performance, service quality, contractual compliance, and continuous improvement
- Lead and develop the team: Manage and coach a small team of experts (3 FTEs), ensuring clear ownership, capability growth, and strong delivery
- Act as senior partner to business and HR: Translate business needs into strategic solutions, balancing global standards with local requirements
Who you are
You are a confident leader with strong coaching capabilities, a pragmatic, hands-on mindset. You combine structured thinking with the ability to actively engage in operational topics and complex problem-solving. You excel in stakeholder and vendor management, communicate effectively across cultures, and turn technical complexity into clear, business focused outcomes.
What you bring
- Proven experience in global payroll leadership across complex, multi-country environments
- Strong track record in vendor management and governance (outsourcing models, contract management, provider steering)
- Experience leading global transformation programs (payroll, HRIT, SAP or cloud transitions)
- Solid expertise in SAP Payroll (HCM and/or EC Payroll) and Time Management environments
- Leadership experience, including managing small expert teams and working with senior stakeholders globally
- Ability to operate in matrix organizations and influence across HR, IT, and business functions
- Fluent in English, German is an advantage. Willingness to travel 10%
