Audits are still highly manual, involving endless checks of unstructured data and documents a frustrating, time-consuming, and costly process for both auditors and regulated companies. At Cortea, we're changing that. Our AI-powered software and specialized AI agents streamline workflows, eliminate repetitive tasks, and free auditors to focus on what matters most.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to build Cortea's hiring function and help us attract, hire, and retain exceptional talent. As one of our first people-focused hires, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our culture and scaling our team in Berlin and beyond.

This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who loves building strong teams, thrives in fast-paced environments, and wants to be part of an ambitious AI startup from the ground up.

What You'll Do

  • Own the end-to-end recruitment process for tech, product, and business roles: from sourcing to closing

  • Partner with founders and hiring managers to understand team needs and craft compelling job descriptions

  • Build and manage talent pipelines, ensuring a strong candidate experience at every stage

  • Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent across Europe

  • Drive employer branding initiatives to position Cortea as a top destination for AI and SaaS talent

  • Support onboarding to ensure new hires are set up for success

  • Track and analyze recruiting metrics to continuously improve processes

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in a startup, high-growth, or SaaS/tech environment

  • Strong sourcing skills and ability to engage passive candidates

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; you build trust quickly with candidates and colleagues

  • Hands-on, proactive, and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing environment

  • Passionate about people and culture, with an eye for spotting top talent

  • Based in Berlin (office-first role)

  • Bonus: Experience hiring for technical roles or knowledge of the German startup/tech ecosystem
