What you'll be doing
- You are responsible to operate a 24/7 high-available VoIP infrastructure.
- You have an overview over the whole architecture and optimize it further
- You plan and install new VoIP services or keep them up to date
- Ensure impeccable call quality and performance with state-of-the-art monitoring software
- You Monitor and coordinate with our upstream carriers
- You support our software developers and AI-Teams with VoIP know-how in the further development of our software
Upcoming projects / challenges
- Migration of VoIP Layer 3rd party call control to distributed WebRTC-Softphones
- Building a highly available and scalable WebRTC Softphone Registrar
- Transition of a SIP Servlet based contact center application to a modern HTML5-application
- Modernization and refactoring of the existing environment
- Create an interconnect between our contact center application and Microsoft Teams
- Create a voicebot application
What you bring to the table
- You support our good team spirit by bringing your best self to work
- You have good experience in the VoIP field, especially with FreeSWITCH or Kamailio; experience with Asterisk is a plus
- You have a good understanding of VoIP protocols and architectures, and you can read SIP traces (SIP, RTP, WebRTC, RTCP...)
- You are feeling comfortable with Linux and database queries
- You can work independently and effectively, co-coordinate tasks and responsibilities
- You recognize opportunities for seamless improvements, and you are driven to implement them into a modern infrastructure
- Over 5 years of demonstrated experience in the field of Information Technology
