Department HR & Administration Locations Munich Remote status Hybrid
We are looking for an HR Generalist to join one of our global clients, a leading organization operating in a dynamic, international environment. This role sits within a shared services structure and focuses on delivering high-quality HR support to employees across the EMEA region. You will act as a first point of contact for HR-related queries, ensuring smooth HR operations while collaborating closely with various internal stakeholders.
Tasks:
- Demonstrate confidence and credibility when addressing medium to complex HR queries across a full employee life cycle. Use HR expertise on many subject matter areas such as compensation & leave of absence, complex terminations
- Identify and escalate complex employee and labor relation matters to SMEs and relevant COEs.
- Manage, track, close, and report progress on employee inquiries using ServiceNow.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and standard methodologies.
- Interpret and ensure compliance with country specific and EMEA wide and labor laws and company policies.
- Lead and contribute to various EMEA and global projects requiring excellent coordination, project management, and collaboration skills.
- Proactively create and update internal process knowledge bases to drive team enablement and AI-enabled support strategies.
- Mitigate employee and manager concerns effectively by working closely with the extended HR ecosystem.
Skills:
- Show confidence when advising/mentoring employees & managers through ambiguous topics.
- Strong knowledge of HR concepts, local/regional employment law, and statutory requirements.
- Demonstrated success in navigating complex collaborator networks to achieve results.

- Dedication to customer service and ensuring a positive employee experience.
- Effective communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of both virtual and local team structures.
- Proactive approach; anticipate potential issues before they arise and diagnose root issues through listening and inquiry.
- Previous experience in a shared services organization is a plus!
- Proficient in English & German; additional languages are encouraged!
